Dr. Cornell A. Bell retires as
Director of the Business Opportunity Program

For nearly 30 years, the success of Krannert students was enhanced by the efforts of Dr. Cornell A. Bell, former Director of the Business Opportunity Program in the School of Management.

During the last three decades, Dr. Bell attracted the finest students to Krannert’s undergraduate and master’s programs.   In 1971, Dr. Bell established the Annual Career Conference to bring together students and outstanding companies.

Dr. Bell’s life work has been to help students reach their full potential in the business world and in their personal lives.   Dr. Bell has done much to encourage the success of students.

Dr. Bell’s current and former students consider themselves very fortunate to have him as a mentor, counselor, friend and even a father figure at times.
