KGSBM Mission Statement
The
Krannert Graduate Society of Black Managers (KGSBM)
is a professional organization of the Krannert Graduate
School of Management at Purdue University that provides
a forum for the discussion of issues effecting black
management students. KGSBM’s membership includes
students pursuing Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Management,
Human Resources, and Industrial Administration.
The objectives of the organization include:
- Promoting academic excellence
- Fostering professional and
career development
- Sponsoring and supporting
networking events
- Maintaining and cultivating
alumni relations
- Collaborating with other student
groups in the Krannert and Purdue community
- Representing the interests
of its members within the Krannert community
- Hosting social activities
