| Kim Horine
Kim Horine retired from NCR Corporation in 2005 after 21 years of distinguished service. Since 1999, when she was appointed to the position of Director and General Auditor, she functionally reported to the Audit Committee of the NCR Board of Directors. In 2001, Kim was named to NCR's Business Leaders Council.
In her General Auditor role, she was responsible for assisting the Audit Committee in executing their fiduciary duties and to regularly review and assess the adequacy of the company's internal controls, and financial accounting & reporting processes. She oversaw the company's first successful Sarbanes-Oxley Certification.
Prior to her General Auditor role, she held a variety of key roles within the CFO organization of increasing responsibility in the US Field, International, and Corporate Office; supporting Business Units, Manufacturing & Development, Corporate, and Professional Services organizations. These positions included assignments in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Business Consulting, and Operations Management.
Kim served as a Federal Grand Juror from 2003 - 2004, is actively involved in the Dayton Children's Museum Board of Director's and Finance Committee, and is a member of the Purdue University - Krannert Business School Alumni Board of Directors.
Leveraging her extensive international business background, Kim is currently engaged in a career change to pursue her passion of mentoring others, health & fitness, life balance management, and finalizing a business plan to become an entrepreneur of her own service business.
Kim is the mother of 3 sons and she resides in Dayton, Ohio.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (with a minor in Communications) degree from Purdue University (1984) and a MBA from the University of Dayton (1987).
