Harris-Sabelhaus Data Extracts in Stata Format
The Harris-Sabelhaus extracts of the CES are available from the NBER in a compressed ASCII or SAS format. I have converted these files to Stata format, and I make them available below. These files are direct conversions of the files available on the NBER website using the variable names and definitions in the documentation, and no attempt has been made to correct for problems in the data; see the caveats on the NBER site for the data. (Note especially miscoding of the education variable for at least several quarters of 1987-1989!)
