Global
Supply Chain Management Initiative (GSCMI)
Introduced in 2005, this initiative allows students
to complete projects and pursue a new option area
in supply chain management. GSCMI students can
also study abroad in Asia, South America, and
Europe; participate in business foreign language
and cross-cultural training seminars; network
with international companies that hire students
for internships; and earn scholarships. See the
GSCMI website for
more details.
GISMA Business School
This program allows you to take an eight-week
module in Hannover, Germany, where you'll live
and interact with the students at GISMA. Taught
by Krannert faculty, all courses are in English.
A number of international students enrolled in
GISMA's MBA program also come to West Lafayette
for an eight-week module, offering additional

MBA Enterprise Corps
Through this consortium of leading business schools,
MBA and MSIA graduates make a one-year committment
to serve as consultants to senior managers in
Eastern Europe, Asia, and Latin America, where
they assist private enterprises in transforming
economies. Participants gain a unique perspective
that comes from learning the language, understanding
local business operations, and getting to know
the people in the host government and community.
Doing Business in
and with France
This seminar takes a cross-disciplinary approach
to understanding the particulars of doing business
in and with the European Community. Held in Paris
at Groupe ISC, a leading European business school,
the two-week seminar occurs immediately after
classes end in May, allowing students to return
in time to complete a summer internship. For more
information, see www.groupeisc.com/anglais.
Cultural Synergies
Between the EU and Latin America
Offered during spring break, this course explores
the ways cultural similarities have allowed Spain
to be the bridge between the European Union (EU)
and the countries of South America in developing
business relationships. A plant trip to Madrid
and case studies of companies that have developed
successful business relationships also are included.
