 "3+2" Program

Students interested in 3+2 who meet grade requirements will be invited to a call-out—juniors in the fall, sophomores in the spring.

The 3+2 program is designed primarily for students who have completed three years (94 credits) of course work as a Management student at Purdue's main campus and such students will be given preference for admission to the 3+2 program.

Students transferring from other Purdue schools or other colleges and universities may also be considered if they are currently enrolled in the School of Management and will have completed at least four semesters of course work (60 credits) as a Management student at Purdue's main campus by the start of their senior year.

Requirements to apply for 3+2:
1) Minimum 3.70 GPA
2) Complete a minimum of 94 credit hours by end of junior year
3) Complete all of the following courses:

  • science and liberal arts courses including ENGL 420, international, world history, fine arts, and literature electives, non-School of Management minor courses, all Industrial Management minor courses.
  • MGMT 305, 306, 310, 324, 350, 351, 354, 458, and OBHR 428 (courses depend on program of study requirements).
  • Accounting students may take MGMT 503, 504, 505 and 506 during MBA (will not take MGMT 600 and 601).

* The GMAT is not required for the 3+2 Program.
** Items 2 & 3 are to be used as guidelines. Courses from requirement 3 must be completed by the end of the 4th year. The first year of the MBA program is particularly busy and we encourage you to complete the courses by the end of your junior year.
