My name is Stephen Richardson II and I am from Naperville IL. I will be graduating in May 06’ with a Bachelor of Science in Management and minors in Finance and Management Information Systems. As an out-of-state student I am often asked, why Purdue? I chose Purdue University because of the warmth I felt on Purdue’s campus when I made my first visit and the diversity initiatives in the School of Management. I also wanted to attend a university that had a challenging and accredited management program. Fortunately for me, Purdue was the perfect fit.
Krannert’s rigorous program has well prepared me for the corporate setting I will enter post-graduation. Krannert not only increased my technical skills in finance and MIS, but it has also taught me many soft skills such as how to maintain my professionalism. After graduation I will be working in finance for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, OH. Capturing my number one job choice is a result of determination, dedication and Krannert’s excellent management program. |
