As Krannert’s Executive Director, Marketing and Communications, Sue oversees the creation, design, and implementation of integrated marketing and communications plans that support the Krannert School’s strategic plan, brand strategy and mission. She is also the lead marketing and communications advisor to the Dean, Associate Deans, and operating unit heads on specific initiatives, challenges and issues in the area of marketing and communications.

Prior to coming to Purdue, Sue spent six and a half years at Indiana University in a system wide marketing role providing strategic and tactical leadership for Indiana University’s integrated media efforts. Her responsibilities included managing all aspects of integrated media planning and execution, social media, research and web strategy, and building the first marketing analytics team for IU Studios.

Formerly a media director in advertising agencies throughout the US, Sue has category experience in Retail, Healthcare, and Restaurants, along with extensive experience in national political media. She has been an adjunct professor at Butler University, and is a graduate of the Brian Lamb School of Communications at Purdue.

A mom to 3 grown children and 2 rescue dogs, the native Chicagoan spends her free time playing tennis, visiting her kids, and cheering on her beloved Blackhawks and Cubs.
